Behaviour Assessment & Plan
Understand First. Train Second.
A 60 minute visit at your Auckland home where I assess your dog's behaviour in their own environment and write you a clear plan - what's going on, what to tackle first and exactly which training will fix it. This is a planning visit, not a training session.
Which One Should You Book?
Thirty seconds of honesty that saves you booking the wrong thing
You know the problem - pulling, recall, jumping, manners
Skip this page. Book a training session and we start fixing it on day one. Your first session includes an assessment as we go - no separate visit needed.
Go to 1-on-1 Training →Multiple issues, reactivity or you're not sure where to start
This is your visit. I assess everything, explain what's actually going on and hand you a written plan with the right path forward.
Book the Behaviour Assessment →You want your dog to board and train with me
Stay & Train has its own required 90 minute assessment - a different visit with a different purpose.
Go to the Stay & Train Assessment →What This Visit Is Not
No training happens at this visit. I'm not here to teach sit or fix the lead pulling on the spot - I'm here to work out why your dog does what they do and write you the plan that fixes it properly.
Think of it like a builder's site visit before the build. You wouldn't want the concrete poured before someone looked at the ground. The training - the build - starts at your first session, and it starts smarter because the plan exists.
What Happens in the Hour
Sixty minutes at your home, all of it about your dog
I Watch Your Dog
I observe your dog in their own environment - how they greet, how they settle, how they respond to you and to me. Behaviour at home tells me far more than behaviour in a clinic ever could.
We Talk Through Everything
You tell me what's going on - every behaviour, every worry, every goal. Nothing is too small or too embarrassing. The more honest the picture, the better the plan.
I Review the Environment
Routines, spaces, triggers, household dynamics. Most behaviour problems have roots in the environment, and I can only see those by being in it.
You Get a Written Plan
After the visit I write up what I observed, the priorities I'd tackle first and exactly which training I recommend. That plan is yours to keep whether or not you train with me.
What You're Left With
The talk evaporates. The plan doesn't.
