We understand that every dog is unique. We can accommodate special diets, food allergies and medication schedules. Simply provide us with detailed instructions and any necessary supplies during drop-off. Our team will ensure your dog's specific requirements are met throughout their stay.

To maintain routine and minimise disruption to all our guests, we don't offer visits during boarding stays. However, we provide regular photo updates so you can see how your dog is doing. Most dogs settle better without mid-stay visits, reducing anxiety for both you and your pet.

Safety is our top priority. All dogs are carefully assessed before socialisation, and we monitor group dynamics closely. If your dog prefers alone time or doesn't enjoy group play, we provide individual exercise and enrichment activities instead. We never force dogs into uncomfortable situations.

We accept intact males on a case-by-case basis, depending on their behaviour and our current guests. However, we cannot accept females in heat due to the impact on other boarding dogs. If you're unsure about your dog's season timing, please contact us to discuss your booking.

Your dog's wellbeing is paramount. In the unlikely event of illness or injury, we will contact you immediately and seek veterinary care if needed. We work with trusted local vets and will always act in your dog's best interest. Any necessary vet visits will be discussed with you beforehand unless it's an emergency.

Many dogs experience some initial anxiety when boarding. Our experienced team uses positive reinforcement and gentle settling techniques to help anxious dogs feel comfortable. We maintain consistent routines, provide plenty of enrichment and offer extra comfort to dogs who need it. Most dogs settle within the first day.

We provide bedding, bowls and toys, but you're welcome to bring items from home if they help your dog settle. We recommend bringing your dog's regular food (clearly labelled with feeding instructions), any medications with dosage details and a comfort item like a blanket or toy. Please ensure everything is clearly marked with your dog's name.

Yes, all dogs must complete a trial day before their first homestay booking. This is mandatory, not optional. The trial day allows your dog to familiarise themselves with our farm, meet the pack and explore the environment. It gives us essential insight into your dog's behaviour, temperament and compatibility with our multi-animal household. This policy ensures the safety and wellbeing of all our guests. Dogs that have already completed a trial can book homestays directly.
