We Train Where You Actually Walk
A dog that behaves in a training hall but not at the beach has not learned much. Every session happens in the places you and your dog use every day.
On the beach
Recall that still works with gulls, swimmers and half a dozen other dogs in the mix. It is the hardest place to get right, which is exactly why we train there.
On your land
Boundaries that hold without a fence, calm manners around stock, and a recall that carries across a paddock. Lifestyle blocks come with their own problems.
On the trail
A loose lead through the bush, where every smell is more interesting than you are. Get this right and walks stop being a workout.

Behaviour Modification

Mangawhai in January is a different job to a quiet paddock in Wellsford. We train here every week, so we know the beaches, the tracks and the traffic your dog has to cope with.
We come to you
No driving to a facility. We work at your place, your local beach or the track you walk every evening, because that is where the behaviour actually has to hold.

Tane really consistently goes above and beyond for my two dogs and we absolutely adore him!! He truly takes his time to get to know your dog and all their individual quirks, it’s so reassuring to know that they aren’t just another number to him. We have been doing pack walks with him for over a year now and have absolutely no intention of stopping! Their confidence with other dogs, recall and general walking skills have improved tenfold making me so much more confident and comfortable on taking them for on and off-lead walks. I love how much variation in the pack walks there are from malls and farms and forests and Bunnings. It’s not just a pack walk - Tane seamlessly integrates lots of training and socialising opportunities into his walks and also just lets them play! I could not recommend Tane and his team enough ☺️

Our dog loves his pack walks with Tane! He comes home tired and happy after a fun day on the farm or in the city. He learns a lot from Tane and his dogs. We've been doing the pack walks since he was a puppy (now 2.5 years old).

I contacted Tane for help with my English bulldog Kingsley, who would bark and rush the door whenever someone knocked. Tane showed me a simple method to keep him calm and in place, and it worked perfectly. We’re really happy with the results and would highly recommend Tane. Would definitely use him again!
